                    On, April 17, 2024, a very colorful art festival was held in my village. This was organized by Weerapokuna Sarana Samiti. The support of various people was received to make this festival beautiful. It was possible to see about 25 different performances. There were 5 songs, 2 dramas, and 18 dances.                      Here the responsibility assigned to me was to create and train choregraphy. While I happily accepted that responsibility, I devoted my self to this for about three months. Dances were created here from pre school age children to adults. At same time I also appeared in seven dances. There are a few ingredients that are needed to make watalappan which are very easy to find. 200 grams of sugar, 3 black beans, 4 eggs and 2 cups of condensed coconut milk are required for this. First place a pot on the stave and put 3 table spoons of sugar in it. After that it is well caramelized in low heat. After that add the rest of the sugar to it. This should also dissolve well.                         Films made in the sinhala language in Sri Lanka are called Sri lankan sinhala cinema. "Broken Promise" is the first sinhala film in Sri Lanka.                     I went on a trip to Nuwara Eliya last December with my mother's staff of the school. It was my first trip to Nuwara Eliya. We left home at around 12 midnight for the trip.
