2024 "Sarana" Buck Grand Art Festival - Weerapokuna

Image
On, April 17, 2024, a very colorful art festival was held in my village. This was organized by Weerapokuna Sarana Samiti. The support of various people was received to make this festival beautiful. It was possible to see about 25 different performances. There were 5 songs, 2 dramas, and 18 dances.                      Here the responsibility assigned to me was to create and train choregraphy. While I happily accepted that responsibility, I devoted my self to this for about three months. Dances were created here from pre school age children to adults. At same time I also appeared in seven dances. There I performed those dances with my father, my dance teacher, my own disciples and my friends.                      The final result of this sacrifice...

Among stylized dramas, realistic dramas and song dramas, ballet is a unique art form. Standard symbols presented by hand are known as Mudras. Let's preserve the virtues of childhood

Image
Childhood is the most beautiful time of a person. This is a time that we are slowly losing. But we can maintain the virtues that exist in our little minds throughout our lives. If so how valuable is the world? Little children are as beautiful as flowers. Very beautiful, shinning like stars in the sky. I think it is because of their genuine feelings. Their hearts are very pure. Jealousy and anger are not close to them.  I wonder if the current education system is sometimes an obstacle for the little mind to experience this beautiful world. But they should also pay attention to it in school education. It should be done gently. It is also very valuable if children are directed to study aesthetic subjects from a young age. Beauty is a healer of our mind.  Also, it is important to start reading books, newspapers and magazines from a young age whenever possible. That way we will be able to know about many things. It is also clear to us from the text "Reading makes man complete"....

Let's eat the most delicious watalappan

Image
There are a few ingredients that are needed to make watalappan which are very easy to find. 200 grams of sugar, 3 black beans, 4 eggs and 2 cups of condensed coconut milk are required for this. First place a pot on the stave and put 3 table spoons of sugar in it. After that it is well caramelized in low heat. After that add the rest of the sugar to it. This should also dissolve well. When it changes color, add coconut milk little by little and dissolve the sugar. At this time, keep the flame low. In this way, we collect all the coconut milk we have taken. Then we need to dissolve the congealed sugar by stirring with a spoon. After the sugar dissolves to a normal amount, add turmeric and salt to it. Then wen the honey thickens and the sugar dissolves, the stove is turned off. After that, put the honey in a separate container and let it cool down.  Now put the 4 eggs in a separate bowl and mix them until they start bubbling. After about an hour, add the remaining honey to the eggs. T...
