Sanniyakuma peacemaking

The Sanniyakuma peacemaking belongs to the lowland dance tradition. This is a common pacification ritual based on demons. The widespread wearing of marks is a distinative feature here.

The Handa Samayam, the Maha Samayam, and the Kumara Pelapali can be mentioned as dance occasions here. The dramatic moments here include the Salu Paliya, the Riri Yaka, the Abhimana Yaka and the Kalu Yaka.

When talking about theatrical costumes, the Riri Yaka is dressed in red color and the Kalu Yaka is dressed in black color.

The main stage decorative here is Sanniyakum Street. In addition, the Sanny Nest, Pillu Street and Flower Bed are also decorative features here.
